The Midnight Frequency is a podcast created and hosted by Nick and JD. The hosts, tend to ramble. Some stay in the episodes. But most hit the cutting room floor. Here is another installment in the series of a curated selection of our rambles as a companion piece to the episode. Covering all the tangents we found ourselves in while trying to talk about Spookies. If you want it. Or don't listen to it. It's not necessary. It's free content to enjoy if that's your thing. Or skip it. We won't be offended... but you know you want to listen.
Also, just some thoughts now that I have a platform to do this on. The book The Hobbit (1937) by J. R. R. Tolkien is perhaps one of the greatest ways to enter a mythical framework as a child. I read it a lot when I was a youngster growing up and it really aids with imagination and provides thought provoking morals of empathy and compassion as well as courage while growing up. Just something to think about. What does this have to do with the above? Nothing, really. But here I am editing for hours and hours, I have to have an outlet somewhere. Speaking of which, I'm done now. So I'm going to go read some of Tolkien's Legendarium right now.
